Dance & Kettlebells

A friend in the neighborhood has introduced me to a great studio here in Atlanta called Dance 101 on Briarcliff in the Loehmann's shopping center, everything from ballet to funk to hip hop, stretching and conditioning classes and more. There are 4 studios so there's always a bunch of classes to choose from. I was thinking it would be more like pilates, even though Stacia said it wouldn't be and it was anything but, this was ballet and it was a tough one. We had a sub and she threw in push-ups, planks and yoga moves for a great stretching workout. I doubt this place will get old or boring any time soon and if this won't get me into shape nothing will :). By this time next year I'll be squeezing a lot less into my wetsuit, which is a big goal :)!!!

Bonus - there's a TCBY in the shopping center so I nabbed a cup of Chocolate Kahlua (sugar free, nonfat) yogurt w/ slivered almonds....ummmmm! I truly love frozen yogurt, the soft-serve kind and while I haven't made it over to Yoforia on Highland yet, but I'm sure it's great. Will make it soon :)!

I hit Kettlebells this week at Gym Condition in StudioPlex as well and had a great workout! Delaine has a comfortable studio and I find that she mixes things up enough that I'm never bored. It had been a couple of months, but I jumped right back in, like riding a bike. This combined with the dance and yoga...I feel awesome!!!!

I'm also tracking through an iPhone app called Livestrong, which ties into the livestrong.com website. As I log it sync's right up with the website so I can see what I'm eating that's right and wrong and track full progress on the website (the app doesn't have too much info, but enough to watch through the day/week).

Our cruise is coming up 2 weeks from today!!!!! It's going to be a blast and soooo looking forward to the diving in Freeport and Nassau and lounging on the beach at Atlantis during the afternoon. Going to be a nice break!
